Aconcagua Dispatch 1/23/09

Hel­lo Moun­tain Mad­ness! This is Pablo call­ing in from camp two. Our team had a great hike to camp three today. It only took the group three and half hours! Every­one is feel­ing real­ly strong and look­ing for­ward to mak­ing a Sum­mit attempt soon. Lor­na decid­ed to go back down to base camp for health rea­sons and will wait for the team there. The rest of the team is now in their sleep­ing bags get­ting rest for the move that we are going to make tomor­row to camp three. Tonight we made Mex­i­can bur­ri­tos with fresh veg­gies! Every­one is hap­py and healthy. 

The weath­er pat­tern in the past three days has been inter­est­ing: clear skies in the morn­ing with thun­der­storms and snow in the after­noon. We will keep this in mind when we make our sum­mit bid and start ear­ly to com­pen­sate for the weath­er. All is well here at camp two and we would like to send our love to our friends and fam­i­ly. Ciao!
