Making the Best of a Bad Situation - Part Two

On 1 May we made the move from Chhoplung to Lukla with the hope that we had flights back to Kathmandu the next day. It was an easy hike up and we got really nice rooms at the North Face Resort. A new partnership: MM and emBOLDen Alliances

Assisting her in the effort is Mountain Madness founder Scott Fischer's daughter Katie Rose.

Instead, we found ourselves descending more than 500 feet over rocky slabs before we could find a passage up to the drastically receding glacier and a point we could resume our ascent.
