After group introductions and an orientation in Kathmandu, the group headed to Lukla, the trailhead for the Mt. Everest Base Camp trek.

Appreciating our Alumni with a Weekend of Rock

I saw the Mountain Madness office for the first time in 15 years this past spring. As the daughter of the company's late founder Scott Fischer, the mountains have always been an important part of my past. However, I have grown up fairly disconnected from the company itself. As soon as I walked into the office and met Mark G I knew that I was not about to let this place slip away again. A week later I started working in the office and I have since come to call Mountain Madness my home.

Big Wall Aid Climbing On Index Town Walls

After guiding several 50 mile treks this summer in Washington, my legs were very excited when Jaime asked me to work a private day of guiding a fellow, John, who wants to climb El Capitan.
