Aconcagua Team Carries To Nido De Condores

The team con­tin­ues their way up the moun­tain along the North­west Ridge. Sebas­t­ian and Joshua checked in over the week­end with quick updates. The team is doing well and they are excit­ed to keep mov­ing up the mountain!

Sat­ur­day Dec. 10 from Base Camp

As you know, today is the last rest day and tomor­row we start the attempt on the moun­tain. We did the first hike up yes­ter­day to Camp Cana­da to pro­vide every­thing we need up there. The team is in good shape and the weath­er is improv­ing! Look­ing for­ward to bet­ter con­di­tions and reach­ing Camp 2, Nido,” in two days.”

Sun­day Dec. 11 from Camp 1

Hel­lo, this is Sebas­t­ian call­ing from Aconcagua. Today we moved to Camp 1, at 16,500 feet. Tomor­row we are just car­ry­ing up to Nido de Con­dores. And the day after, mov­ing to Nido. Every­one is doing pret­ty well and we will call you from Nido when we move up there!”

As we can see from the SPOT map today, the team reached Nido with their car­ry and will be head­ing back down to Camp 1 this evening.
