Dave called in to say Happy Easter to all and left a dispatch:

Today, Saturday, we played in the snow a bunch- lots of it, over two feet of new overnight and 30 mph winds to keep the night interesting. Today we worked on skills including looking at the avalanche hazards and camp construction in stormy conditions. We also made plans for an Easter egg hunt.

Happy Easter everyone! Mark H. found the eggs today in record time! After our hunt we worked on crevasse rescue with Mark H. extricating a pack we named Fred into the crevasse. Mark managed to get Fred out in 20 minutes- a great performance. The weather seems to be improving so we’re off to 11,300 on Monday. In the meantime, we’ve enjoyed quesadillas, cheesecake, and some Easter sweets- life is good!
