Aconcagua Trip Dispatch: Madness Team at Base Camp!

Guides Andrew Wexler and Ale­jo Laz­za­ti called in this week­end with an update from Aconcagua. Their team – com­prised of clients Dave Cree­den, Andrea DeVoe, David Krause, Hanse Ringstroem, and Ter­ry Schuck – is attempt­ing the sum­mit via the 

, and report that they’re doing wonderfully.

“We’ve been hard at work enjoy­ing meals of meat, veg­eta­bles, and wine,” the guides report­ed from Plaza Argenti­na, their base camp at 13,780 feet. ​“The group is very strong, and has been keep­ing a great pace, so we’re feel­ing great. Tomor­row we’re plan­ning to make a car­ry to a cache at Camp 1. Onward and upward!”
