Aconcagua Dispatch 12/27/08

Hel­lo Moun­tain Mad­ness. This is Pablo call­ing from Plaza Argenti­na. We have been here for a cou­ple of days now and doing well. We had a move day from Casa de Piedra on Christ­mas day, fol­lowed by a full rest day on the 26^th. We had a chance to arrange our gear and our food that we will be car­ry­ing to Camp 2 today. We also had a chance to check in with the doc­tor here at base­camp and every­one is healthy and ready to move on up. Again, we will be doing a car­ry up to Camp 2 today and return to base­camp for the night. Tomor­row we will have anoth­er rest day and then move up to Camp 2 to stay on the fol­low­ing day, Decem­ber 29^th. Every­one is feel­ing good and hap­py to be on our way. We all want to say hel­lo to our fam­i­lies and we will be check­ing in with you again before New Years. That is all for now. Ciao!
