Start out in Cus­co at 10,909 feet / 3325 meters and explore the beau­ti­ful Inca sites of the Sacred Val­ley. Con­tin­ue your acclima­ti­za­tion with a tour of the ancient ruins of Machu Pic­chu. This great four day tour will give you a taste of Peru­vian cul­ture while get­ting you accli­mat­ed you for a climb in the Cordillera Blanca.

For Moun­tain Mad­ness trekkers based out of Cus­co, the Ama­zon exten­sion offers an oppor­tu­ni­ty to explore the diverse flo­ra and fau­na of the Ama­zon. You can choose from a vari­ety of itin­er­aries that will take you from the rivers to the tree canopies of this amaz­ing rain forest.
